Our story
Born from a craving.
AfroTreats began with a craving. Its owners, who have roots in Namibia, missed deep and rich Southern African flavors — and that is what pushed them to kick-start the business.
Food in Southern Africa is a cultural language that brings people together, whether at bustling street corners, community celebrations or quick lunch breaks. We capture that spirit of togetherness and package it into handheld, flavor-packed meals you can enjoy anytime, anywhere.
Authentic flavors, accessible to all
That means Southern African convenience street food: flaky pies baked fresh daily, flame-grilled boerewors in a freshly baked roll, and crisp toast sandwiches — with fillings like curry mince, chicken mayo and spinach & feta, and chakalaka to pile on top.
We’re a food truck based in the DMV. Oshiwa lela!
